What's next for SFO?

Venris Here!
Time has come for a next DLC for Total War: Warhammer II. I think that all of you, same as me, can't wait for it. Lizardmen and Skaven required love and they will finally received it. But the recent events dried me out and I want all of you to know what is happening and will happen soon.
1. Family
Whole drama with Steel*Faith left its mark on me. Such situation with person I worked with and was a friend of mine, was hard. We solved it together with the Team but still, it was not easy. I am a quite sensitive person so yeah, let's leave it for good now.
As some of you make know, my wife was sick some time ago. After a week we thought that she is healthy again but things get worse very fast. We had to go hospital and spend couple of weeks there. She is fine now and we hope for the best. At that time I was tending to my son Alex and that took most of my time. We don't live in the same city as rest of our family so we were in this alone most of the time. Because of that I don't have that power as few months ago. I am tired and want to rest, clear my head. So please don't expect me modding 10+ hours a day in coming days. I am sorry.
2. DLC
With coming update SFO will stop to work. It's very hard for me to say how long it will take to make it working again. Some of the changes like Skaven underempire conflict with SFO changes. Others like new Bretonnia mechanics just require some tweaking. And other like Book of Grudges demand proper rework to make it working better. I don't expect it to last as long as Vampire Coast update but let's hope for the best.
3. Update
Upcoming SFO update will be focused on Bretonnia and Chaos with small addition of Empire. We were working very hard on adding new and unique mechanics and ways to play. Things are Chaos Settlements are just a tip of iceberg. Full update showcase will be posted here when all changes will be adapted to new DLC.
4. Media
Some time ago I started SFO YouTube channel and I still want to do it. But recent events just did not allowed me to do it properly. I am still learning it but just don't want to do things just for sake of doing it. If everything goes right I will be making video with full update showcase just before its release.
5. SFO for Warhammer 1
Old SFO mod was removed on first Total War: Warhammer workshop. This is how SF decided and lets respect that. Because of that new version of the mod, based on SFO: Grimhammer II will be released. Its ETA is planned to not long after DLC update drop. First version will have battle changes, second campaign, another new units etc. Slowly increasing its size to something much bigger it was before.
6. What's next
Right after SFO DLC update our modding road will be published. This road is usually changing in time but overall goal stay the same. What to expect? Faction reworks, new system to make each Legendary Lord campaign more unique and who knows, maybe some daemons?
I hope that all of you will enjoy new DLC and give a thumbs up for Creative Assembly that heard our voices while making this update. In coming days I will be also posting updates on SFO update progress as usual.
As ending note, I would like to thank everyone that cheered me up and supported in those hard weeks. I said it many times, but without You I would never be here :).
Venris out!

Same - I pledged for the first time last week. My first ever Patreon pledge ! I have been using SFO since TW1 and would not play the game without it. My turn to give something back. Health and happiness to you and your family Venris.
