High Elves / Buildings / Win Tomb Kings
🕑 Added 2017-12-28 17:25:06 +0000 UTC Venris here!Asur were the first (after Lizardmen) to fight with Chaos so their Content Pack will be first. Not only the Asur are getting new things, however. With new update all factions will receive new buildings to make their construction system more complex and interesting! Check out some of new stuff and another Contest that comes with it. But letโs not forget about Happyfunrun who won his own SFO unit. I can only say that his choice was very good and new unit is very rare and powerful in lore and coming to SFO as Legendary Unit. More info below:
Beta Patch for Patrons release date: 01.01.2018
Public Release if everything goes right: 08.01.2018
High Elves new units:
- Talons of Tor Caleda - Basic infantry hybrid unit that attack with bows and dual swords. We all agree that HE lack basic infantry in SFO now because of White Lions and Swordmasters changes to more elite units. That's why we found great unit in lore that will fit the faction and have unique role as very versatile unit.
- Sisters of Avelorn - Magic/fire damage support range unit. Obvious choice for HE for time being. I am sure that CA will add this unit to game in time but for now it will have its role and place in SFO.
- Handmaidens of the Everqueen - Protectors of Everqueen herself. Legendary Unit that will be recruited only in Court of Everqueen and will buff all units around with leadership, melee attack and vigour. In lore its said that there is always 100 of them, thats why its first elite SFO unit with that specific number.
If any of those units will be added by CA, their SFO versions will be removed or changed if it will still fit their role.
Happyfunrun unit:
- Daemon Slayers - Legendary Unit for Dwarfs that will be recruited only in Great Slayers Shrine. Magic attack berserk units that will buff all units with extra leadership for high duration when they are low on health. With SFO new faction skills Dwarfs are all about low health and having extra stats then. Thatโs why this new units ability will be variations about this that will work even some time after Daemon Slayers unit dies.
New events:
- Beastmen Invasion by Zarkis: thanks to it you will be able to decide if you want a Beastmen invasion in the world early on and with Archaon!
New buildings:
Chaos:
- 4 Chaos Gods shrines are expanded now with +1 level to each of them. Also, effects were changed to make every god ever more unique and game changing. Each building exclude other now!
- Chaos Warshrine effects changed to buff other hordes more and have lower penalties.
- Chaos Fortress: Low tier that changes your horde into fortress right away. It have some new factionwide effects.
Vampire Counts:
- Blood Tax: New building chain that gives income and lowers growth.
- Zombie Dragon Lair: Separate building for Zombie Dragon.
Bretonnia:
- Shrine of the Lady: Low tier building chain that increase untainted and movement range of your lords in province.
Empire:
- Training Grounds: Special chain that will increase exp of your units in province and increase exp for new recruits.
Beastmen:
- Raid Chain: Special buildings that will increase your raiding income and lower upkeep of single army:
- Tribes Gathering: High tier building that unlocks Gods specific units and has factionwide effects that will increase growth and new lords level.
Greenskins:
- Waaagh Tower: 5 level building chain that increase raiding income and lower recruitment cost factionwide. On max level it also have bonus charge bonus and waaagh generation bonus.
Lizardmen:
- Temple of Healing: High tier chain that gives constant replenishment factionwide and lowers upkeep for all forces provincewide.
Skaven:
- Food Chain: Skaven food is always a problem, thats why they have sperate chain that generate it from tier 1 settlements.
- Clan Gathering: High tier buildings chain that decrease upkeep for all units and slaves factionwide and on highest level also increase movement range of your lords.
Dark Elves:
- Tower of Dark Powers: Mid tier building that decrease enemy winds of magic factionwide, also have bonuses for Black Arks and technology rate.
High Elves:
- Gate Guard Garrison: Mid tier building that allows recruitment of Gate Guard and gives bonuses to all your armies provincewide.
- Hunters building new level: now its 2 level building with better effects on second level.
Dwarfs:
- Construction Site: Special building chain that will decrease time for your buildings to construct in province and increase tax rate.
Wood Elves:
Their new buildings are not in new version yet. Wood Elves outpost and amber systems are good but very boring for longer games. That's why those are going to be changed as whole soon.
- Minor Outposts will be able to be upgraded to tier 2
- Major Outposts will be able to be upgraded to tier 3
- Amber Generator: Special building chain that will generate amber and will be able to be build both in Athel Loren and outposts.
Those changes are not yet in beta because need more testing. Will be released most likely with Tomb Kings update.
Like you can see, some of the buildings are more complex and some dont. Thanks to modders from C&C Modding Den I was able to make that some buildings can exclude other. This is huge change that can give infinite ways of making each province even more unique. Thanks why this buildings pack is only the beginning!
Full changelog will be released with beta release!
New separate mods:
- Buildings Pack: Vanilla version of SFO buildings so you can use them without core mod.
- Units Pack: Vanilla version of SFO units balanced to be played on vanilla.
