Quick Note
🕑 Added 2024-09-09 04:10:53 +0000 UTCI'm working on the ending sequence now, where are you select your ally or allies and then see the repercussions of that decision.
We're looking at about 15 endings, with two variations on four of them. One for each of the four gods, one for every possible combination of two of them, one for every combination of three, and one for all four. Also variations on the four solo endings if you encouraged them to go with their worst impulses.
I could probably get away with writing some pretty generic dialogue and just plug it in where appropriate, but that feels lazy. Writing 15 different scenes? Brutal but it would give you the most personalized experience so that's what I'm going to do.
To keep things sane for the completionists, there will not be 19 different achievements. There's one for each of the solo endings no matter the variation, one for team chaos, one for team order, one for any team up of three, and one for all four. That is a lot of numbers. Probably very confusing! Oh well.
So the next beta update will include this, probably alongside a tool to jump straight to the ending with any particular set of trust levels you want for testing purposes. I mean I need to make that tool for myself so I may as well give you it as well.
No estimate on this, because it is a hell of a lot of writing. And we are a little slowed on the final artwork for the game. I am hoping to get this out in early 2025, or if I'm very lucky, late 2024. More to come.
... I guess this wasn't actually a quick note after all.
