Quick Update About Cheevos
🕑 Added 2024-10-19 13:02:24 +0000 UTCYes, I know "the kids" don't call them cheevos. But the word's burned into my brain, so.
I'm going to simplify the achievements considerably; I don't want people to have to play through the game like 15 times, or even the ending sequence of days 15 times to get everything.
The following are cut entirely:
Happiness in Slavery / Welcome to the Jungle. No Order / Chaos specific achievements.
Bound For The Floor. Let's be honest, nobody's gonna purposefully lose to Cthulhu just to get this.
Keep Hope Alive: We don't need an achievement specifically for duos and trios.
Shock to the System: Do five hacks. Kind of a meh achievement.
You Oughtta Know: Website leveraging is fun but it's easy to miss five in one run so let's not.
Even Flow: Beat the game without cheating at hacking? Kinda penalizes bad RNG.
The following have been changed:
Killing In The Name, About a Girl, Do the Evolution, Black Hole Sun: Instead of only awarding for the solo-old-one endings, you can get these when forming alliances. So if you form the four god alliance you'll get all four in one blast.
I'll have Beta-03 for you in a week or so, taking care of this and fixing some crash bugs that have been reported.
