Hey all, been at the gamedev grind this week working on adding more to the neighbor interactions. I realized that with a new public build coming relatively soon, I wanted this piece of content to have a little more to it than the last public build. There are now two additional conversations with them with a third on the way.
I am still working on the content for the new dreamworld as well, but I am having the unfortunate realization that my art skill have gotten kinda rusty and a lot of the things I draw look really subpar to me now. I'm gonna try to give the scene art a solid couple of days this week though. Here's hoping that my skills come back quickly!
I realize in the past I said that mid-May would be the release date for the new public build and while I'm going to try my best to adhere to that, it's kind of looking more like late May. Sorry about that. :/
In other news, with Unity being the bulk of what I work with in my IRL job now, it's looking more and more like the next game is gonna be a Unity-based one which is pretty exciting.

@SBA This one remains to be seen. I do want you to have some kind of cyber thing with them first, but I'm playing with a lot of high emotions here and I don't want to mess up the tone. You've been writing smut all game and all of your interactions with the dream characters are highly sexualized. Maybe the more interesting approach is for your one real life relationship to be messy and awkward, but ultimately based on mutual care and compassion rather than extreme horniness. Seeking a best friend for the end of the world kind of thing. I dunno. Still workshopping that part.

@christian hunter You will meet them. The idea of the dreamer's relationship with them is that it's a developing companionship between two very traumatized shut-ins. Breaking through that isolation barrier as you can imagine is a big character moment, so I want to save it for the end.
