Dumb Theory: there are two Reggies, the old modern one and the current fantasy one. This story takes place centuries in the future, the fantasy Reggie has succumbed to his eldritch tentacle kink and became a specter with tentacles and will now do all kinds of horrible and possibly lewd stuff. Dumb theory over.
