In the video you will find all the steps for the yellow armour and the blue helmets. It's basically a 100% airbrush video, so if you don't like that I can't really help you out.
There are a couple of things that are missing that I think I should include, I was just too tired to keep filming, picking up the black details almost killed my will to live. So find the steps detailed here:
WHITE CLOTH
Mask all the surrounding details with AMMO Mig Masking putty. Lovely stuff BTW.
Apply a full layer of Game Air Sombre Gray using the airbrush.
Using pure white, in my case Game Air, Apply a zenithal layer slightly tilted to catch all the folds and create an easy shading.
Refine shadows using Sombre Grey with the brush.
Refine the highlights and pick edges using White with the brush.
Freehand lines are Imperial Blue .
BLACK JOINTS
Pick all the joints with Black legion over the yellow airbrush work.
That's it.
WEAPONS
Same as the Fire Dragon video.
METAL
Same as the Fire Dragon video.

Hey so -- Cobalt Magenta -- beautiful but wildly expensive like you mention. If using another magenta would the process go: - gloss varnish - magenta - satin varnish - continue with the process Thanks! Looking forward to trying this out. It's gorgeous and the tutorial is great.
