Delay and next game announcement
🕑 Added 2024-07-14 06:47:08 +0000 UTChey I've got a few announcements to make. With the end of RE:curse, I've spent a lot of time testing new engines to see which one I'll use for my next game.
The first consequence of this was that the next Shadow over Meridia update wouldn't be ready in time, so I decided to postpone the update until the end of the month. I'm sorry for the delay, but since it's time to choose my next game and it's a very important decision, I wanted to make sure I had all the information I needed to avoid making any wrong decisions.
After testing a few engines, I was really excited to try out unreal, it takes a little time to get used to, but the possibilities the engine offers are wonderful and it really allows you to get professional results and I really want to make my next game on it. However, if I really want to be efficient, I'll have to spend hundreds of bucks on a good framework. The consequence of this is that if I have to invest such a sum, it's not to go back until the game is finished. So I'd like to know what you think before I get started. In my next post I'll let patrons vote for my next game, trying to describe each one so that you'll have an idea of what to expect.
