"Pocahontas" is based on a real native american woman, her actual name was Matoaka. She was kidnapped, married to a farmer at about age 17, and eventually taken to England where she died at like 21. It is a pretty messed up story, as you'd expect.

David Odgen Stiers was a really interesting actor, heโs most known for his role as Major Winchester on M*A*S*H. Later in his career though he started doing voice acting after he voiced Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, youโll hear him a lot in Disney 90s & early 2000s films! Also, you may want to check out the direct to video Disney sequels like Pocahontas 2 (where Pocahontas goes to England)!
