I’ve tried everything above, and even tried sudo chmod, and nothing at all has worked! What am I doing wrong here?

Sorry for the late reply, Marcus. NeoKyosin suggested this on Discord: "First, right click the app and look for the word copy but don’t click it yet. Hold the option key and it should say “Copy Spacecorpsxxx as pathname”. Open your terminal and type “sudo chmod -R 755”. After that use the paste command so it can paste the pathname into the terminal. It should then ask you for the password for your Mac to allow the action. It should be able to open after all that." No idea why Mac is making this so hard!

The Mac version doesn't unpack, no matter what I use. It just says that it's not available on this Mac. Any ideas as to what I can do? It hasn't worked for me at all after 2.2.1...

Update: Something may actually be broken here, and denying you the large sex scene with Meera [it's called Prison Snitch]. Currently testing.

Hey uman! Prison Snitch is a 3-part mission chain, & you’ll be able to play all the parts allowed by your sexuality in a single playthrough - just split into 3 separate encounters. If you’ve already been in a cell, Prison Snitch 1/3 will *only* let you inform to Meera about that encounter [and then give you the choice to have sex with her]. Whatever you chose, you’ll be able to return to one of the other cells in the next 2 sets of missions [this will come up in your mission selector as Prison Snitch 2/3 & 3/3]. That means you can choose, say, Luke in Prisonsnitch 2/3 and Rydick in 3/3. Right now there’s only one mission watch [the 2nd one of day 2], so you can’t progress the chain yet. But in the next update, 2 more mission watches will be available and it will be possible to play Prison Snitch 2/3 and 3/3 from that point on. I know - it’s horribly complicated. It’ll all look a lot clearer once more training days are added.

I dont seem to be able to do anything in the prison snitch scenario except to do it with Meera. None of the choices seem to lead to the brig. She mentions that my previous encounter was with Krathi (too bad, not the save I thought I kept), and I can either spill the beans, give her something trivial, or say nothing. The first 2 lead to banging Meera, the do nothing leads to getting kicked out. What am I missing?

Yes. You can currently play the BC Holodeck mission as a straight player [the BBN & Summer Vacation missions are gay/bi]. I have another upcoming straight mission to announce in September, and am negotiating another one :)

As someone who plays as a mostly straight character, I don't like that its a requirement to be a bi or gay character to play most of these Holodeck missions. It feels like I'm playing 5 minutes of content with each update. Will you have any Holodeck missions (that aren't VirtualBeach) that have m/f content or any guest developers who will make such content in the future?

OMG!! This did it! That makes total sense too, because looking at the file it's not registered as an executable file! To specify my steps were: 1. Extract App to Downloads. 2. Open Terminal 3. cd downolads 4. chmod +x /Users/USERNAME/Downloads/SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3.app/Contents/MacOS/SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3 I didn't need the '' around SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3 when formatted that way.

For Mac: I found a simple way to get the game to run. copy and paste this command into the terminal; chmod +x SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3.app/Contents/MacOs/'zsyncmake' If you have any issues this youtube video might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8r2oMwsgMg

Which Unarchiver are you using? Did you get it to work? I'm using "The Unarchiver" from MacPaw Inc and it doesn't work. :/ WinZip Mac doesn't work either.

So, even after using Unarchiver I keep getting "The application “SpaceCorpsXXX_v2.2.3” can’t be opened." or if I use a different app I get an app with no icon image, and another folder inside has the app but it says that app is corrupt... Those issues never happened for me before. Has anyone on OSX managed to get it to work yet? If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

I just used winzip (I used file viewer plus yesterday) to extract the 2nd download from yesterday and I have the .exe's now. Must have been a bad extract yesterday. Thank you for your quick response.

Hey G.C. - You'll need to download the Unarchiver app from the Appstore [it's free]. The built in Mac unpacker no longer properly unpacks the game [no idea why].

Hey there, i'm on a Macbook and i'm having issues opening up the game. My Macbook says the app can't be opened. The file was 4.28GB from MEGA and 4.66GB on file. Have i done something wrong?

Hey, Lrdjustice, welcome on board! There are 2 .exes in the game folder [64- and 32-bit]. The problem is likely to be either: a bad download [unlikely since it happened with both sources]; an incorrect extraction of the .rar; or your anti-virus hiding the .exes from you [a lot of them hide applications from sources they don't recognise]. Check that the file is the full size of 4.39GB [4.43 on disk], and if your anti-virus has quarantined or flagged the .exes. If that doesn't help, make sure you extract the .rar into a fresh location [I usually advise WinRAR as a good free extractor].

There's no .exe in the windows downloads. I tried both sources and neither had a game.exe or anything similar. I just joined so I don't have any previous versions. Unfortunately, at this point I am unable to enjoy your content.
