Change? Don't Change? I agree with what was said previously, personally I prefer the meat and potatoes you've already been providing in healthy portions. The password entry is...a temporary aesthetic that can be changed to Lance rather quickly as I recall (I think it was a near immediate question, I will let you know once I do my comprehensive playthrough to decide canon 😉 and of course alternates to decide AUs)

Thanks for all your responses everyone! 😀 It looks as though 'don't change' has it by a mile... so I can cross one more task off my (massive) To Do list! 🤗 I'll respond to the issues raised in the comments in a post rather than here (soonish)

While I would basically keep the intro screen the same, the only recommendation I'd have is that before you choose which AI you prefer the look of, you actually have them BOTH on the screen, so the player can make an informed choice rather than have Lancelot hidden unless you specifically choose the m/m option to see him. It would just represent both hetero and homosexual content as more equal, rather than "hiding" the more m/m content like it's shameful or something. You have them both on the screen, maybe saying a few choice words to represent their personalities and then the player chooses which one they'd like to deal with.

While I personally would also prefer to see Lancelot be the default AI if you choose him here, there's a reason why that doesn't happen, story wise. The default AI for the entire ship is Morgana. Lancelot is basically a product of the Morgana AI going "rogue". If Lancelot was showing up everywhere around the ship, Morgana/Lancelot would be deleted and reset, as they aren't supposed to have a will of their own. You can't just substitute the image of Lancelot for Morgana either, as they have distinct personalities, so that would mean every instance you see Morgana appear in a public setting would have to be re-written from a Lancelot perspective if it were to be made a choice setting from the beginning of the game.

How/aesthetic doesn’t matter to me. My thought, I suppose, is that I initially had it, then had to drop down a tier, so I don’t have access to the password any more (guess I should have written it down). But ultimately, except for a couple of scenes early in the game, I don’t remember this ever actually making a difference. Maybe it has behind the scenes and I never knew it?

From a user experience perspective this is not a critical issue - it would be nicer if there was Just a password box, but I voted to ’don’t change’ as think it would be better if you could focus on developing the adventures and main storyline (..and Jared 😁) However I have OCD and I know sometimes I just need to complete a non-essential task in order to progress with the essential stuff as it annoys the hell out of me.

How and where the password is entered isn't that important to me. It would be nice to have something in the settings, or one of the other status pages that tells you the additional content is unlocked for that playthrough.

The only thing that is missing is the fact that later is Morgana the one who always appear first, every time we talk with the ship´s AI. I would prefer that if we choose Lancelot here, it would be always Lancelot the first to appear on every screen.
