Track sequencing is one of the most fun parts of making an album, if you ask me.
I used to burn CDs in up to 20 variations to figure this stuff out, so I found myself a little stuck with no CD player in my car and no CD burner.
So to solve a modern problem, I turned to a modern solution.
My conversation with ChatGPT is pretty dry (well I guess I’m literally talking with a robot so that makes sense) but I included it in case any of you music buffs are interested. I was pretty impressed with the useful practical take on music theory and 90s discography!
Brittonik almost made the cut, but didn’t quite because I already had a key change from Em to Gm a couple tracks earlier and I didn’t want the album to feel like it’s going backwards that close to the end.
White Rabbit might make a fun video though, so glad that made it in!
If your fave song didn’t make it, I’ll make sure it’s on Volume 2!
I‘m looking at some more options for the cover photo based on your feedback on those.
Probably won’t have any physical copies out in time for the Holidays, but maybe digital.

Nico- you were the one I thought of when Brittonik seemed to need to be cut- perhaps that could be opening of Vol 2. Wow with the George Michael catch
I understand that the playlist may be locked for this first remaster album, so my suggestion may rather apply for an eventual second one. Shikee shikee baba always had a special place in my heart. I always felt it as an unprobable mix of gipsy music with english influence (Beatles? and even more with the 'George Michael' extra cameo (connoisseurs will understand what I mean)). Someone may correct me, but I think it was used as the score for some kind of turkish TV soap opera in the 90s. It's a simple but very joyful, dancing, and enchanting melody that melts the best from several cultures, and it would once again be a perfect conclusion for an album or concert. The sad thing is that if you are mainly focusing on solo performance it will be hard to revive all the magic generated by all the musicians and the public involved (I still have in mind the 'Live from the Mucky Duck concert DVD' conclusion scene).
