Charge forth Roscinante!

I teared up reading this. The second Alessio whispered to himself, "Charge, Roscinante". A ray of sunshine is Lady Flayne.

I totally agree, I’d be using this format on some stories definitely, it’s a lot easier on my hands to haha

I think stories like this, with a lot of internal monologue, work a lot better as Stories rather than comics. If this were a comic, the first two paragraphs, if printed in full, would take almost three pages, and also the shots would be mostly Casian, looking dejected, while lying in bed, or sitting in a chair. Maybe some close-ups of his handcrafted body for emphasis, but really no life. As prose though, it's good! And the pictures you do draw get to be simpler, and more expressive for it.

Excellent writing. I can tell there was a lot of deliberate thought put into the words you chose to use. I also have to note, in several of my own writings I have also named my butler Sebastian. Is that just the first name that comes to everyones mind when they think of a butler?

This is such a good story, and I think it’s a great idea to make these so as to not have to make only comics. The way you told the story and the characters and world you’ve built, I could honestly see and hear it all. Very well done!
