Alex shot himself at the end of season 1 because he felt really guilty for Hannah, he was in the pool house with Monty at Bryce's the night he raped Hannah in the jacuzzi, they heard noise and Monty went to see at the window and told Alex that it was just Bryce having sex in the jacuzzi. He felt guilty, in his suicide letter he said "I could've stop it" speaking of the rape. (Also Alex's dad isn't the Sheriff, he's a deputy) Can't wait to see your reaction to the next season, there's some good stuff coming up ! 😊

Clay find the pictures of Bryce's body on Tyler's computer and Tyler explained that he went to the river to kill himself but he saw Bryce's body and took pictures (episode 4 I think). As for Jessica, Ani was suspicious again after her speech at the assembly last episode because she used the whole "mirror'" metaphor that Bryce used in that tape he gave her.
