What did you pay in sales tax?

Not sure if it's about VAT as I've been paying it since forever, not just recently, but for the record it was $0.41 for a $2.00 pledge. 20%, which is expected in France.

In the U.S., Texas to be specific. Sales tax is all over the place. In your case, I paid 1¢ in tax. Two artists I've got a $5 pledges on charged me 41¢ in tax, while one I've got a $7 plege for only charged 6¢.
