Random Journal-Like Update
🕑 Added 2018-07-27 03:01:26 +0000 UTC Today was kinda a mess and a mixed bag.Tried streaming today to see how my wrist was fairing. After flipping back and forth between chat and CSP, eventually I started getting weird behaviors of a bug that I had squashed a year ago. The start of lines would come up broken and skipped.
It seriously fucks with your ability to draw even basic shapes, so it was imperative that I solve it. After reinstalling drivers and messing with it for 15 minutes, the issue was still present, so annoyed, I canceled the stream.
None of my prior attempts that worked in the past were working now to remove the bug. I had uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times, meaning 8 restarts.
Eventually my friend suggests turning off double click distance.
I made sure the issue was recreated, then disabled double click distance on my tablet. The issue was gone. Enabling it made it resurface.
So I made a set of options just for CSP and set double click to 0. The issue is still there. I turn it off for the main options, and it's gone. I turn it on for CSP and... it's still gone.
What's more, double click is totally unaffected anywhere.
So I have no fucking idea what's going on.
On a slightly more positive note, I'm able to go into a pushup position without any pain. It's a little uncomfortable (more for my left arm now than my right) but that's a huge sign of recovery as that was the biggest indicator of my wrist problem.
I'm not fully recovered but I should be fine to draw again now. I don't know if I'll have the update for PV02 ready by Sunday but I might try. I still have to finish coloring it and inking the last 3 panels.
Have an Etna I started doodling in the canceled stream.
