HTC Book Club and Movie Night Dates and Changes
🕑 Added 2023-06-20 03:32:51 +0000 UTCHello HTC Book Club Members:
I have made several changes to our book club dates, which are as follows:
1. We will now be holding our first movie discussion on June 28, 2023 at 6 pm PT. The movie will be: The Silence of the Lambs. Because the book we were going to discuss has been difficult to obtain in a timely manner, I have substituted that time slot with our first movie. While this movie is older, it has become a cultural icon and worth discussing for its impact upon true crime, perceptions of serial killers, etc. Please find the zoom link for the movie discussion here:

2. The next book club meeting will now occur on July 12, 2023 to allow more time to obtain and read the book. The book is: Dangerous Lunatics by Brett Kahr. We will meet at 6 pm PT on July 12. Please find the zoom link here (which is the same link that was posted previously for this same book club meeting):

For those who have not officially joined the book club, you can use the following link:

Joining the book club provides timely updates on any changes to books and dates as well as previous books read and upcoming meetings.
I hope to see everyone for the upcoming movie discussion and the next book club meeting!
Thanks, John

I just joined the book club late last night and I am so excited! Dr. John, the link you provided for purchasing the book for July has it on backorder, so I ordered from Amazon. However, the soonest I will receive it is apparently July 19th. 😢I will see everyone at the meeting and I look forward to your insights, even if I don't yet have the book!

Heard you were doing this on the Richins live and went immediately here. Cannot WAIT to hear your take on Hannibal Lecter.
