He was mentioned by Chad Daybell in a document about Past probations. Hidden True Crime talked to Destin today to learn more about his involvement and what he knows about Chad Daybell. ... I’m a bit of a weirdo, but I learned the pendulum method for finding out past lives at least a decade ago. The person who showed me was shown decades before. I think it’s originally from a past lives book. Interesting that Chad steals a necklace from church lost & found and steals a woo-woo pendulum party trick.

This person may not have been actively involved with the murders, but was obvs actively involved in recruiting. Do we know the timeframe of when this visit happened in relation to Tammy’s death etc, etc?

This guy seemed sincere. It’s so interesting to hear him describe it was a network marketing recruiting style. This aligns with Lori feeling out April and Melani trying to tell Jes. I’m sure if you seem interested they stay on ya.

That’s an important question. LE is aware. While the friend was more involved in Chad’s teachings than Destin ever was, Destin still does not believe they were involved in any deaths, and Destin doesn’t want to feel responsible for publicly connecting this person to the murders.

Do we know who “the friend” was that Chad brought with him? I can't help but wonder how many people and who they are that are still practicing his beliefs.

We think Destin's story is interesting for many reason. John and I think it shows that Chad was actively recruiting. We see a pattern of dividing spouses. Destin also confirms the pendulum story. Chad admits to finding the pendulum in a church building.
