Regency Romance: December Update

Sul Sul!! This year's final update of the Regency Mod (or first, depending on your timezone) is finally complete! This is definitely the heftiest update yet, and I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped beta test and make this mod a reality.
As a quick overview, this update includes three new careers, two new aspirations, eight new lot traits, two new dancing animations, expanded social class dynamics, a new social standing mechanic, a finishing school activity, hireable governesses, a new Charity Gala event, and two new holding types similar to estates.
Content Updates
I'm going to be a little brief in the post description because many of the features have been mentioned in the WIP posts leading up to today, and I spent a few hours yesterday thoroughly updating the mod guide (attached to this post).
Careers
Your Sims can now pursue careers in the Clergy, opting to pursue the life of a Monk or Nun, or work your way from a lowly curate up to Archbishop. Sims who are promoted to Vicar will be rewarded with a Church Holding, which works just like Estates, and will award you daily tithes based on your congregation size. Sims may also pursue the Governess career or the Socialite Career.
Charities and Charity Galas
Your Sims can now Found a Charity from the mailbox. Unlike estates, charities don't earn an income -- instead, you are rewarded in Social Standing. Even if you haven't founded a charity, you can still host a Gala from the social menu.
Social Standing
Replacing the old buffs is a new social standing mechanic. You can check your status on the Society Papers object. Social standing dictates your Sim's likeliness to receive invitations and factors into their attractiveness.
Expanded Class Dynamics
Sims will now tend to interact autonomously with other Sims of their same social class. Sims will get periodic moodlets based on their social class, and other moodlets from interacting with Sims outside their class.
Lot Traits
There are new lot traits, including the Gentlemans Club, Ladies Club, and Gentry Club. There are also challenge traits, the Harvest Tax and Sleep Tax, as well as traits which control which type of Sims will spawn on a lot by social class.
Aspirations
The two new aspirations are Lasting Legacy and Rags to Riches, and incorporate the mod's features surrounding social class and becoming one of the gentry.
Finishing School
Click on the phone to enroll your child in Finishing School, which is an after school activity and does not replace regular school. There, they will learn Etiquette, Writing, Charisma, and Flower Arranging. There are a number of Chance Cards with this activity.
Hireable Governesses
Governesses can be hired from the phone, and will teach your children etiquette.
Dancing Animations
Now, there are three possible dances: Generic Regency, Basic Waltz, and Viennese Waltz, which are accessible from the new Ask to Dance pie menu.

Hi! I've noticed that since the Life&Death base game patch, Estates do not get passed down to the designated Heir and instead either disappear entirely or stay with the Ghost Sim who previously held the Estate.

Hello, I don't see the option for Finishing School in my sim's(parent&child) phone. Do I need some dlc for this?

Hi Jane, I cannot find a quill anywhere apart from the career unlock one, could we get a stand alone quill please or am I missing it somehow?

Hi, thank you so much for the report. I think the reason is this mod auto-adds a few custom traits, namely the wealth trait. Any Sims with custom traits will show up as modded in the Gallery. I'm working on a bugfix update now and I'll add a cheat to remove the traits which you can use just before uploading.

I love this mod, but I found a slight problem: If this mod is in my mods folder, all new sims I save to My Library have a custom content designation. If I remove the mod, place the sim in my world and save it again, I have no custom content designation. So something in this mod is attaching itself to all sims saved, even animals like cats and dogs. If I want to share a sim to the Gallery, I have to remove the mod before saving the sim. Please look into why this is happening. I want to use your mod, but right now I am concerned about whatever is attaching to all my sims.
