Sul sul! Here is another new musical skill - the lute! Thanks so much to @simverses for the suggestion! This skill includes one low-poly object with three swatches, but any object that functions as a guitar can be turned into a lute, such as the beautiful TSM Lutes converted by @simverses.

Skill Level Information
Level 1 - Practice Lute
Level 2 - Discuss Lute Music, and Research Lute at the Computer
Level 3 - Unlocks ability to Play Folk Songs
Level 4 - Sims can Jam on the Lute
Level 5 - Sims can play Bard Songs
Level 6 - Serenade other Sims
Level 7 - Unlocks Court Songs
Level 8 - Write, Scrap, and Name Songs, and Craft Lutes on the Woodworking Table
Level 9 - Play Classical Songs and License Songs on the Mailbox
Level 10 - Mentor other Sims in the Lute Skill

Turn Guitars into Lutes
Open the package you want to edit in Sims4Studio. Locate the Object Definition, then change the Tuning to simsten_lute:object_lute and the Tuning Id to 13602861778954956423.

Hello, I wanted to ask you if this new update eliminates the sound files because I just realized that I updated the mod for Curseforged and when I checked my recycle bin I found all the sound files in it and I don't understand why?

Hello, sorry to bother you but I wanted to know if the whole mod is in the JS_Lute_v1.3 package because my initial lute mod folder has "lute_audio_files", "simsten_luteSTBL" and "simsten_lute_object" in it. Do I need to remove everything and just keep the last file ?

hey it seems like when i click on the file it isnt found? also this might sound stupid but if i did the edit of the lutes you linked to to connect them with this mod do i need to update them now?

Hey, I was wondering if not being to license written songs from the lute was just a glitch or if I need to tune a guitar into a lute?

The lute actually hasn't been showing up for me either. It's listed in the catalog but the item is invisible when I try to place it. I've wondered if I might just have a mod conflict honestly but I'm not sure what it might conflict with. I'm happy to help troubleshoot if needed!

This should come with a lute! Let me know if it isn't appearing in your game for some reason - another user had reported a bug and I haven't been able to replicate it for the life of me.
