Big things be happening!
🕑 Added 2019-03-06 17:29:46 +0000 UTCHey guys, I hope you're all doing awesome! I've been a little quiet lately, but nonetheless very industrious :o) I hope you'll enjoy this update on how things are going. I think you will, it's the patreon post I've been the most excited for since starting this little project.
Remember that little visual novel experiment, 'Carnage Quest' ? I'm linking it below this post in case some people missed it. Well, it's back. And it's looking and feeling more awesome than ever. I've been dying to get more serious about gamedev and in the long run it's definitely the direction I'd like to take things, combining it with my art skills should allow me to create some really cool stuff (I hope).
Let's get to the point! I've got so much in terms of game mechanics working already (and pretty robustly so, in the past my code would explode when I tried to build ontop of it, but I've since gotten a lot better!) and the 'feel' to me is spot on. It's moody, immersive... I'm a little proud I've got to say ^.^
Please check it out! I'd love for you guys to be involved in the development. Tell me what you think! There isn't much in the sense of story here, but it's just enough to get a nice first impression!
CarnageQuest3dTeaserino.rar is the new version, developed on Unity
CarnageQuestdemo.exe is the old gamemaker VN attempt
(If you have trouble opening the rar file please let me know and I'll see to it, it worked for me)
Now, the controls are simple. Just use WASD to move around, and F to interact. That's all! Explore a little and then move on to my next post ^.^
Thank you guys!
You want the .RAR file vvv
