But it turns out there are multiple definitions - so of course, people in the comments had to correct me with their also-right answers. That's okay though. It means people are reading closely!
Psu: I think if there's anything that defines both of our styles, is that we take stupid jokes pretty seriously. Or at least serious enough to consider how far we can push it. Like... this is referring back to when Clawlossus made an off hand remark about investing wisely?
Gunwild: Well, also he talked about providing for his numerous dangerous young, so I think this is a way to show that he's taking his responsibilities seriously - as seriously as he does violence or showbiz. It's efficient! No wonder nature keeps trying to evolve things into crabs.
Psu: And of course, even a crab can evolve as a person into a more responsible adult. Clearly bounty hunting isn't as good for your future as sound investing.
Gunwild: Oh right, he has a Ph.D - I imagine his species is long-lived. But he's also a D.C.L., and that's because of a typical honorary degree title, D.H.L., or Doctor of Humane Letters. So I thought maybe he is a Doctor of Crustaceous Letters.
Psu: Heh. So... hey we should actually discuss some of the story telling things here right. Like... I remember saying I needed a break and a "quick" page we could do for the update. I can't remember which one of us came up with this one though...
Gunwild: Oh, me neither! It was fall though, maybe we were both thinking about how we're those people who like to go to panels and hear speakers at comic conventions.
Psu: It just seems like a resort thing right? Like people using it as an excuse to learn stuff at some convention, but really they're there for the drinks and schmoozing with other business types? Anyway, we figured that was something that could be happening at the same island. We had a few other jokes for other characters that could've been vacationing too but that could be stretching belief TOO far.
Gunwild: So, my excuse for Cassiopeia running into Feti was that they used a Regency travel brochure, right? I admit, I sort of stole that plot convenience from the manga Love Hina, where two characters from the same place kept running into each other on a cross-country trip... because it turned out they had used the same exact maps to plan their route and itinerary
Psu: That actually makes a lot of sense!

Psu: Man, hey wanna go on a beach vacation together where we can learn business advice?
Gunwild: I can probably survive that! I wonder if he adjusted the microphones with his tiny little graspers or the colossal claws.
Psu: I'd say he'd use the tiny graspers but Clawlossus doesn't do anything small.
Gunwild: He's also probably pretty good at the job of 'Beach.'
