That's the very first time jahla said father without grief. I know they disliked ranulfr for all the pain he did but hopefully now they'll lighten up on him. It wasn't his fault. But now time is running out extremely fast.

I really hope the scrolls contain information on how to fight him. I also am a bit peeved, why leave such a threat alive? Why not kill him? He clearly will cause further trouble down the road so i think it's a bit shitty they simply didn't make sure he could never hurt anyone again...
