Question. When it says can not be used as another breed, let’s say someone is don’t a saber tooth roleplay, they wouldn’t be able to use this since it’s not called a saber tooth right? Or am I mistaken? I just wanna clarify so I know

GIMP is a limited program, I'd consider using something like Clip studio paint, it's a lot cheaper that photoshop, and you can do so much with it. I used GIMP and it just didn't do ny good in the end. (If you ever get to see this)

I didn’t see any way to unlock them but I’ll look again so far the only base I’ve been able to color is the liulfr base

I suggest looking up how to unlock layers in Gimp on google if you haven't already. I don't know how Gimp works, but in Photoshop there are locking icons on the layers but a transparent lock icon doesn't mean the layer is locked, it just means you can't paint outside of the area/lines. A dark lock means the layer is locked from being painted on. Just clicking on the lock in photoshop unlocks it.

does anyone else have trouble actually coloring these bases? i use gimp and half the layers are locked so i can't even actually use paint to color them any advice would be great
