As always, this version was a HUGE collective effort—so much dedication and sacrifice were needed to bring this update to life. Honestly, I’m starting to feel more and more pressure to outdo the quality of SnC with each new version hahaha.
I want to thank everyone involved in making this happen—all the Patreons and supporters, Hope, the Doctor, Rifle, Ragnar, Bomb, and all the testers on Discord! Special thanks to Mikka, Zabat, and Energy for their technical input. To the server players, casual players—if I can keep working on this, know that it’s only thanks to your support.
This version introduces the Jaw Titan as the main star. The goal was to greatly enhance the control you have over your titan—to really make the player feel powerful when gaining these abilities! This was supported by adding new mechanics like Cooldowns for titan abilities to deepen the shifter-vs-shifter combat. There's also been a complete revamp to the animations for the Attack, Armored, and Beast Titans—mainly thanks to the Doctor’s help. A few mini-reworks were done to adapt some shifters to this new combat system and to further differentiate their fighting styles. There's also a new dancing abnormal titan, and of course... a new intro and music!
It’s quite a long changelog, so I won’t go on too much—let’s just say the feedback when playing as a Titan Shifter has been greatly improved.
The plan for the coming weeks, in order, is:
Finish version 1.21.4 (we’ve already made some good progress!)
Port to 1.21.5
Finish beta 1 of the Female Titan
And finally… release this version to the public with a cinematic featuring an original soundtrack!
The next few weeks are going to be really tough for me time-wise, but I’m willing to give it everything I’ve got to finally deliver this update to everyone!
