We personally think it works best in darker scenes as it is quite bright in parts.
This is for G9 but we will also get a G8 version sorted and both uploaded before the end of the weekend.

One thing I have found that adjusting the opacity can make for very striking yet subtle differences, say between a shell with blood and the skin beneath. I sometimes spend hours messing around with blending multiple geoshells, so I'm really looking forward to see how this works out.
