January-February 2022 Content Dump....sorta?

FInally, finally getting around to throwing this up. There's a lot of reasons for the last 2 months delays and while listing them off will help with me being transparent with folks, it also just comes off as a laundry list of excuses for the more snippy people waiting on their content lol This is gonna be a long one, so I don't wanna linger on the intro long. Lets get into it.
I'm not in the best headspace right now!- I guess that's a good way to start all this off haha I usually pride myself in being a pretty sociable guy, and that's been going great for me over the years but man has it finally caught up to me. Across the board, but if I had to be blunt, the server plays a huge factor into it. You ever had a friend that you love oh so very much, but they just do that one small thing that drives you up the wall? Okay now imagine that but with an average of 30 people per day for 5+ years lol I'm usually pretty good at sifting what I don't like about a person from what I do like about them; pros vs cons. But those cons keep piling up and before long I realize I'm like 75% done with people before my day even starts. I can't treat people like shit for pretty much being who they are or liking what they like, but there's just certain stuff you don't wanna be bombarded with on a daily ya know? So I'm just...taking a break. From people, not art lol Rest easy, I don't have a problem with you, I have a problem with everyone haha
My Tablet's Dying!- Like forreal this time lol It's cord is buggy as hell and now it's getting to a point where Olightspeed is in danger. I won't lie and say this is why my art was delayed the last 2 months, but it has made working on art extremely frustrating. What irks me is that I do have a fancy replacement tablet but holy fuck does it suck. This is the part where some corny dude is like "so what your saying is commissions?" and no, however I would love to do another event similar to MILKT from last year. I mentioned a slime themed art sale, so I might do that.
Being Online With You Chapter 2 Delayed- Originally planned for January and then hopefully early February was just not happening. I'm underestimating the amount of work that goes into these projects as they get bigger and bigger and my level of work/polish in them also increases. I had to eventually make the call to stop mid production and come up with a more rounded project to give as content. BOY is a fun comic, but these first couple chapters are on the lighter end and don't feel strong as their own product. BOY will have to be shelfed a bit longer as I need to start work on my April Fools comic so as not to end up in the same predicament.
Y-you got it Boss! Available tomorrow(later today?)- What I've been pooling all my resources into for the past month. A script I had here since 2019 and was saving for a rainy day. I wanted this comic done for Valentines Day but was shocked when the thumbnails came to a whopping 55 pages. In true Purin fashion, this is a bloated story about a worker getting lucky. This IS the year of Purin, like I def wanna home in on more artworks with her similarly to how 2020 was the year of Claude. A shame I couldn't get it done for Vday, but what can ya do...hopefully next year I can do a big event again.
Legends Arceus is pretty good!- What's been keeping me sane through all these low moments has been a cruddy looking Pokemon game. As a lover of gen4 and a guy that's always been about collecting mons vs all the other shit the game has to offer, I love love love it. After a long night of arting, I would play some hours before bed and its just so fun bludgeoning unsuspecting Pokemon for research data. The characters are super cute without being horny in design and that's something I really appreciate haha Was REALLY bummed I couldn't do any art when the game was still super hot, but now that I'm free, I have a backlog of art I wanna get done. There's a couple sprinkled in this dump here and there. I saw Lopunny ranked pretty high in the last poll, so furries rejoice, that will be the next thing I draw lol
Congrats on our Poll Winner!- Gwen's ass has beaten out the competition. As a very niche subject, I tried to emulate the comic style, but alas, I can't give it the full effect as I don't have any Mexican friends on short notice that can help with translating the dialogue lol If someone is willing to help, I'll provide EN/SP dialogue for all images!
VERY small content dump- That will still be updated within the following days, I have some more birthday tokens I need to add in. But my main concern was getting the Poll art done and this comic. The comic will be available to all patrons at the $5 tier and above on the mailing list, or who have access to the Patreon Discord. If you aren't on the mailing list yet, ping me with "add me to the queue!" and you should get the comic sometime tomorrow.
