Making changes to Patreon!
🕑 Added 2016-05-06 15:38:06 +0000 UTC Okay so of late- the past 2 months or so, I've been getting a lot of shady Patrons as you've seen in my other comments. Nooooww a good bud ah mine told me that I've recently been added to the site Yiffparty(a place where people can mooch your content for free). Whether that's the stem of my fake patrons or not, IDK. But considering last month I had over 10 fake pledges, it just tells me I need to change how I handle my Patreon. Until now, it's been pretty quiet, so I didn't have to be very aware of things, but I guess I'm at that serious point.FOR STARTERS. I'll be changing most of my posted content here to "sample" crops. Just little teaser pictures to give you a hint of whats to come/been done. At the end of the week, the full images will be emailed to people with completed pledges. I choose to group them together because I don't feel like spamming you guys with emails- image packs seem to be a neater way of doing things. However if this system is too slow, and you rather I email you same time, that can also be arranged.
When the pics have been posted to my other sites, I'll change them from sample images to the full pictures. I don't want my Patreon blank now! lol "Meet the OC's" and Wallpapers will still be posted here uncropped as I deem them not-worth-trying-to-con-me-outta. If you're trying to rip me off, you're not here for the characters, you're here for the porn!
This is a clunky system, and it feels really inconvenient, but no matter how you slice it, pm's are the safest way of handling the situation. I used to throw up a lot of content that would be posted in the next 2 or 3 days, but with this system, It's limited to the more "exclusive" content I don't know when I'll be posting if I ever do. So less stuff there, but on the up side since i'll be emailing, I can throw in more derpy stream doodles/wips that you may or may not like lol

Sorry, I was one of those people who's payment failed. I lost and had to cancel my credit card, then I forget to update the payment information. Got everything straightened out now.

Whatever you have to do to ensure that people aren't "stealing" or "ripping you off" is fine by me, and even without the benefits of donating to you i'm still happy to support what you do and the things you create. I hope this works out for you!

Well yeah. That's always been the purpose of my Patreon- sneak peeks. I'm not a fan of paywalls so I never wanted that to be a thing. HOWEVER there's still content I put here that sometimes doesn't get posted at all for various reasons. In those rare cases, I want that content to at least be of some worth. This is especially important in the case of comics where things are scheduled(whether nsfw/sfw) and I wouldn't want them being posted anywhere else before their due time or before completion. I'm aware that most my Patrons support me from the love of their hearts rather than what they can get out of it- I mean I have patron focused options that are available, but not much bites there, so that just speaks for itself lol My gripe isn't my existing patrons though, it's just the fake pledges I get. Yeah they're not getting much content as a whole, but it's just really tedious hitting my goal every couple of weeks lol If this could deter people from wanting to fake a pledge, that'd be a lot better. I dunno. Like I said, I'm not 100% about this but it's been recommended by my other friends who are on Patreon. I'm not too worried about single pinups but this might be problematic for future comic plans. If anything, the email system I would use for attachments that I would usually post here, and maybe only post single images to Patreon itself.

Frankly, maybe I dont understand this new system you're trying to do, but at the same time I don't feel it truely matters? Compared to most Patreon artists, your "patron exclusive" content is rather small, and at most the stuff you post here you post to your other sites maybe a couple days later, so at most patrons get a "sneak peek." Because of this system, I'd like to think many of your patrons, myself included, support you more because we choose to, not because we want to be in some inner circle with exclusive benefits. While I think it stinks that you have to make changes cause of some bad apples, I think the people who have supported you will continue to do so, as you've always been nothing but fair to your fanbase, patrons or otherwise.
