The Staircase Mistress
🕑 Added 2025-11-16 15:00:08 +0000 UTCThe incomparable Endless Sinner on a fabulous staircase in an Airbnb I stayed in some time ago. The light here comes from a medium-sized (about 120 cm) matte silver umbrella from Balcar, probably about 30 years old, which they unfortunately no longer make. The matte silver adds a bit more punch than a matte white umbrella, but not as much as a shiny silver, where you can often see multiple shadows from the different triangular panels. I find this to be just right.
