Does this update support 1.40.7? i play on 1.40.7 as 1.40.8 crashes my game - and ive been having issues with changing driver range settings on my version and i want to update to see if its fixed.

Yes, ReeSabers will be available as soon as BeatLeader mod itself is released

performance really depends on saber used. Some Ultra presets like Nebula may lag even on a very high end PCs in VR. You can find many sabers with good performance in the BeatLeader discord
