love the idea of breaking a book down into sections for the patreon, then compiling it for YouTube once it's done. i think most viewers prefer longer episodes, but totally understand that it's not feasible for y'all to do often. also, no idea how this would work given the nature of the book, but reading house of leaves would be awesome since Isaiah mentions it all the time, and it would be a fun read-along for people who are reading/experiencing it for the first time!

Reading books in parts would be cool, but I think it would also be nice to have a reflection episode after they've had time to reflect and think about the book. Almost like a creepcast book club type episode, but that would be a lot of content around one specific story so I could see how that wouldn't really work

I am happy to see a novel length story done over parts released on Patreon and then later for all listeners. You all probably get lots of recommendations, but here it goes. "Mooflow" by Bitter Karella is such a great read. Premise is an illicit mushroom dealer has to go into a haunted wood in order to find spores to grow a new species. Lots of fun very spooky. Flavors of "The King in Yellow" throughout 💛 ✨️

Compiling it and putting it out for free is fine, i dont think it should replace that weeks normal ep though. Because that would mean patreons sort of in a round about way paid to get one less ordinary show on the week you put it out.

I'm hoping I'm not too late! But I would also love for y'all to do more old horror/sci-fi radio dramas. It feels like a natural direction for the podcast to go in with Isaiah already being the constant narrator and Hunter's voice acting. It'll take more editing to put in the proper sound effects but it would be amazing. Start with The War of the Worlds broadcast if you can get the rights!

Novels sound great! Honestly id love for the patreon stuff to get uploaded to YouTube later! Non patreon fans love CreepCast too, just because someone cant spare the money i wouldn’t want them to be locked out of fun content. Patreon already has enough awesome stuff with early release and ad free :)

Okay, I absolutely agree longer videos but I don’t think any completely new stories or shorts should be Patreon exclusives. EVERYONE should have access to normal reading episodes. I don’t mind paying the 5$ but I sure as HELL wouldn’t have been able to as a kid (12-16) due to circumstances out of my control as I bet many people can relate to. And I can see myself being a lil pressed about missing out on just regular content. What I think SHOULD be exclusive and worth paying for is -ad free vids -interviews with authors -lives/ gameplays - please for the love of god give up the bloopers and cut scenes -early release episodes -early access to merch and tickets. Anyone reading this who disagrees look above and see the list of things that are already being provided for literally only 5$. If it’s just a plain old read through like any other episode Yall should let everyone have access.
