This story but taking place in a more people filled area would be fucked. Imagining it being a hotel or college dorm. Where you regularly come into contact with people you aren't intimatly familiar with. Sometimes have trouble relating to a story like this cus you wouldn't catch me dead doing a hike without a firearm, whether thats a pistol or a small rifle. First time that fuckin creature shows back up its getting a 9mm or a .300 blk to the skull. If it'll kill a mountain lion it'll kill one of those things.

This story, especially, as a means to deliver a story about anxiety and social anxiety, mirrors so well with the feeling of just Not Knowing if you did the right thing, and Not Knowing how people will react to what you do, but what you convince yourself they’ll do or react or be like can be the reality To You, if you don’t push through and get the answers.
