⚠ Tiers Adjustment

Patreon has implemented a significant change in the last few days, concerning every creator and patron on the website.
I have been using Patreon since February 2021, and until now all Tiers have always had stable prices, based on the price set up by creators in their default currencies.
But now, all Tiers on the whole website have been re-adjusted due to the current economy crisis we are experiencing. Which led to my default Tier price dropping from $9.00 to $7.50 in USD and a similar drop in all other currencies that are not Euro, since my account is set up in Euros.
And, as almost all of my subscribers pay in currencies that are different from Euro, most being USD, it resulted in a significant drop of my earnings, bringing me to amost 0 profit from a monthly release after deducting the pre-supports costs.
So I have to change the pricing of my Tiers to bring them back to the normal rates, reflecting this unfortunate move from Patreon as well as the increasing inflation rates. I have looked at the other similar Patreons and Tribes, and almost all of them have their main Tier listed around €10, so I decided to set up my new tier for the same price.
But, as a gratitude to all of you who are supporting me right now, I have decided to keep the old Tier, which was now forcefully discounted by Patreon, as an Early Bird Tier for all of my current patrons 💜
At this moment, the tier has a little bit above 130 patrons, so cancelling your subscription will remove you from the discounted tier and you would need to resubscribe at the full price of the new Tier, which is now €10 / $10.50. Once the amount of people on it drops to 100 or below, unsubscribing from it will also free a spot for a new person to join it, so it will work the same way as all of the other Early Bird tiers.
I understand that this change can make you uncomfortable, and I am sorry for it, but please understand that I need to make a living out of this, and maintaining the status quo is not viable for me. Before this change happened I was just at the edge of being covering the monthly costs, but with this drop it puts me in the minus.
In other news, books are ready and test-printed, so you will find them in your libraries tomorrow, and the current collaboration should be done tomorrow as well :)
I was going to release them both today, but this Patreon change had struck me hard and I didn't manage to concentrate anymore 😥

Hey, I've been around I think since either your first or second release. You charge what you need to charge. I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of us will tell you it's more than fine. Thank you for explaining though! And sorry you're getting the wrong end of this and HAVE to explain. It's not your fault. You're good.

Cool! The swan was a cute idea I did it in blue resin when I get clear I'll do some more.
I will add the STL tiers back to Tribes, but keeping the Patreon as well :) Not sure about the custom tier yet, but I think I can add a tier to request a variation of the model, so with some light adjustments to the model in the release, as it's easier for me to deliver

I totally get it. We will support you as we have. You mentioned tribes. Is that still gonna be the "tip" additional account or will you be switching? Another question. Will the custom item tier becoming back? That was fun
Thank you, Rob 🤗 I will come back to Tribes within a few months as well, just want to be sure first that I wouldn't need to skip a month and deal with filling a form for every subscriber again to refund them, like the last time. I'm also deciding on a new tier for those who cannot pay the full amount, which will let them choose which mini-sets from the release they want to get :D

Yeah I agree...how could you do that to your creator base. Honestly Patreon has rubbed me wrong, as a patron of the artists, in so many ways that I've been trying to get OFF their platform as much as possible the past year. They do the same sort of non-communication mass changes to us patrons as well. I've only seen a survey 1 time in many years. And....their customer support is a joke IMO. Anyway, sorry that their policies and decisions continue to negatively impact you guys. I hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you. Take care of yourself, be well, and....maybe eat some chocolate! :)
Thank you. It shows to me that the price has changed, but probably yes, since you were already charged this month it doesn't move. I just don't understand why they didn't even notify anyone about something so significant, and simply changed it on their end for everyone :/

So sorry to hear how this impacts the hard-working artists like yourself. :( FYI, I'm still showing $9 tier for my subscription, so perhaps it gets converted as we transition to the next month? We'll see.
