It isn't content creators that have chosen to make this move. IT is the credit card companies and payment processors getting their panties in a bunch over supporting, gasp, Adult Content.

Curious as to why it you posted it to Mega. I know that Patreon is your 'bread and butter'. I recall your '$500' goal. You're doing a bit better these days. Regardless, one of the things that encouraged me to actually join and support your efforts was your 'not a pay-wall' policy. Gee, almost like you care about supporting a community... ☺ It would be nice if someday you had a forum again where you didn't feel constrained. As always, Thank you for your work!
