Computer Problems [Solved]
🕑 Added 2018-10-26 14:12:04 +0000 UTC It seems the issues I had back in late July are resurfacing - my computer will freeze or shut down randomly, and sometimes give four loud beeps and just sit there spinning its fans when I try to restart it. Cleaning the insides of dust was the solution last time, and it had been running fine since, but now it doesn't seem to help much.Fortunately I bought a newer computer back in July, which I have been moving all my data over to. It's probably time to switch, but I'm going to try a few more things with the old one first.
Obviously this takes up a bunch of time.

Ah I know what this is...You need to go to your PROGRAM FILES FOLDER and then click on the WINDOWS folder, you'll see a folder called 'System32', this can become corrupt over time and not only slow down a computer but force it to freeze, re-boot etc. If you delete it you should be fine.

Sounds like a power-supply problem. That's what it sounded like to begin with. The power-supplies on those desktop computers just burn out after a few years and have to be replaced. It should be a cheap and simple repair.
If the hard drive is OK you don't need to transfer the data. Just take it out of the old pc and put it in the new one.
