Hey everyone,
A heartfelt congratulations to Harper for winning (just about) her first H-scene poll! Her animations will start this week and are sure to make the upcoming release.
I wanted to keep you all in the loop about the upcoming Version 0.875. My circumstance that's been affecting my personal life is getting better managed and development has been slowly returning to normal as of the middle of last week. I'm only really going to get about three weeks of solid development time total, so I'm shooting for around four to five events on the launch day. Those that have been supporting me for a while know that not all development weeks are created equal, and that the first week is usually a lot of planning, but I, thankfully, got all of the planning out of the way literal hours before I got the news.
The plan going forward is to get the animations done, get the H-scene fully implemented into the game, and then build up, if not finish, one of the game's plot developments so that there is still some tangible progress in the story. I can't help the fact that this update is going to be half the size of a full one, but I do still think this is a better solution than a delay to the project.
I'm also doing okay, thank you for all the wonderful messages.
Not much else to comment on this week. It's really just a lot of catch-up and crunch time until the release. I'm still taking proper breaks and pacing myself, so don't worry. I'm not going to burnout any time soon. Anyway, I'm getting back to rendering.
