[Progress Report]: 28th of November

Hey everyone,
We just passed Thanksgiving and I'm already over the holidays. You'd figure after all these years that the added "festive stress" would be something I could account for, but there's just some special about holiday stress that seems immune to any type of good planning.
Regardless, Version 0.975 is still on schedule! Although, I'll make a quick "real life" note here. To make a long story short, something is wrong with the carpet in my house (technically a condo) and getting it re-floored is something of an emergency. I've scheduled it for the day after the release, which means that the release will not be delayed, but I will not be on task for bug-fixes until my "office" area is finished, and I can move my computer back in. It shouldn't impact the next release either, I'll just be unavailable for a few days.
Anyway, back to the update! I see that Valentina managed to win the most recent H-scene poll, beating Harper by just a single vote, something I'm sure that bothers Harper to no end. This upcoming week will be devoted to the lead up and fleshing out of her H-scene event! Once that is done, the final week will be a single massive event for Artemisia that pulls her character arc into the spotlight. I know that many of you have been waiting for this moment, and I'm ecstatic to show you her character progress. You can expect Artemisia to be a fully fledged character with her own series of events has dramatic as the rest of the major heroines. Just, uh, give her some time. You'll see what I mean.
Now, onto a very popular question I have been receiving lately!
Solace, when will we finally learn more about the protagonist's powers?
After Version 0.0975 we'll be starting Version 1.0 whose entire goal is hitting the midpoint of the main story. Based on that schedule, I expect the power reveal to be in Version 1.2.
Now, that doesn't mean we're necessarily two versions away, as I expect I'll need to do a Version 1.5 for reasons you'll understand once you see the midpoint, but it does mean that you can expect the power reveal within the next 2-4 Version updates to the game, and one of the biggest mysteries of Superheroes Suck will finally be revealed! If you'd like to throw your tin-foil hat into the ring and guess the protagonist's powers before then, be sure to stop by the Discord and join OBE, Devil, Okies, and Moskys in the story-theories channel!
I have always believed that the best mysteries in stories are the ones that the readers can guess before the narrator spells it out for them.
