Progress report & future

Here is a little update on the progress of my creations and the work to come.
I continued the evolutions on Eternea. As usual Unity drives me crazy, as soon as I touch something something else starts behaving strangely.
The game has become much too big which explains a lot of disappointment.
I would need a team to manage that but it's a whole different budget and that wasn't the goal.
But I hold on! I intend to finish this game and not in 20 years!
On the other hand, I will do it well. Even if I completely saturate, I will go all the way! ;)
Barring any setbacks, a next version will arrive next weekend.
The veil will gradually be lifted on the reason for the kidnapping.
I'm still very busy with my "real" work (the one that allows me to fill my plate), however I plan to finish Eternea by the end of March at the latest.
Vortex will of course be staged. There will also be Atigar, but in a roundabout way (I still haven't finished his V2 transformation,... I'm never satisfied with his current appearance... maybe too demanding...).
I plan another character, but for the moment it is not fixed.
I had to give up the idea of putting the dragon (see one of my previous posts).
This one requires the unity 2021 version (I work with the 2019 version) and I broke my teeth trying to bring the character from the 2021 version to 2019 as well as trying to bring the game from 2019 to 2021 (I think that I lost neurons along the way).
As always I try to imagine the rest.
Once Eternea is finished, there's no way I'm going to start a game of the same size again.
It's just hell!
What I have planned is to go back to mini-games like what I have already done.
Basically, a centralized game on 1, 2 or 3 characters maximum and featuring some interactive animations.
This will allow me to struggle less while providing content regularly.
I planned to go through the various polls I had done here, those concerning character wishes.
For the Patreons members who had answered these surveys and who are still patreons to this day, I will take a closer look at their wishes and see what I can implement, again.
In relation to this point, do not forget that I am always at your disposal whether it is for:
- send me a bug
- send me a request for a specific development
- suggest me animations to integrate
- ask me this or that character
- etc...
I strive, over the creations, to add all this.
Last point, all requests that have already been made are not lost.
It necessarily takes time to put all this in place and since I am alone on the project, by force of circumstance.
But one day or another, provided that it is possible of course, things will happen ;)

Point d'avancement et l'avenir

Voici un petit point de situation sur l'avancé de mes créations et les travaux à venir.
J'ai poursuivi les évolutions sur Eternea. Comme d'habitude Unity me rend complètement chèvre, dès que je touche quelque chose, autre chose commence à se comporter étrangement.
Le jeu est devenu beaucoup trop gros ce qui explique beaucoup de déboire.
Il me faudrait une équipe pour gérer cela mais c'est un tout autre budget et ce n'était pas l'objectif.
Mais je tiens bon ! J'ai l'intention de terminer ce jeu et pas dans 20 ans !
Par contre je le ferai bien. Même si je sature complètement, j'irai jusqu'au bout ! ;)
Sauf contretemps, une prochaine version arrivera le WE prochain.
Le voile sera progressivement levé sur la raison des enlèvements.
Je suis encore beaucoup sollicité par mon "vrais" travail (celui qui me permet de remplir mon assiète), cependant je prévois de terminer Eternea d'ici fin-mars au plus tard.
Vortex va bien sur être mis en scène. Il y aura également Atigar, mais de manière détourné (je n'ai toujours pas fini sa transformation V2,... je ne suis jamais contant de son apparence en cours... peut être trop exigent...).
Je prévois un autre personnage, mais pour l'instant ce n'est pas figé.
J'ai du abandonné l'idée de mettre le dragon (cf l'un de mes précédents posts).
Celui ci nécessite la version unity 2021 (je fonctionne avec la version 2019) et je me suis cassé les dents aussi bien à tenter de faire passer le personnage de la version 2021 à 2019 que de faire passer le jeu de 2019 à 2021 (je crois que j'ai perdu des neurones en chemin).
Comme toujours j'essaye d'imaginer la suite.
Une fois Eternea terminé, il est hors de question que je me lance à nouveau sur un jeu de la même taille.
C'est juste l'enfert !
Ce que j'ai prévu, c'est de reparti sur des mini-jeux à l'image de ce que j'ai déjà fait.
En gros, un jeu centralisé sur 1, 2 ou 3 personnages maximum et mettant en scène quelques animations intéractives.
Cela me permettra de moins galérer tout en fournissant du contenu régulièrement.
J'ai prévu de reparcourir les différents sondages que j'avais fait ici même, ceux concernant des souhaits de personnages.
Pour les membres Patreons qui avaient répondu à ces sondages et qui sont toujours patreons à ce jour, je vais regarder de plus prèt leurs souhaits et voir ce que je peux mettre en oeuvre, à nouveau.
Par rapport à ce point, n'oubliez pas que je suis toujours à votre écoute que ce soit pour :
- me faire remonter un bug
- me faire remonter une demande d'évolution spécifique
- me proposer des animations à intégrer
- me demander tel ou tel personnage
- etc...
Je m'efforce, au fil des créations, d'ajouter tout cela.
Dernier point, toutes les demandes qui ont déjà été formulé ne sont pas perdues.
Cela prend forcément du temps pour mettre en place tout cela et vu que je suis seul sur le projet, par la force des choses.
Mais un jour où l'autre, sous condition que ce soit possible bien sur, les choses arriveront ;)
