Progress report on episode 3

Here is a progress report on episode 3
- Recovery and adaptation of the Tauren model via Blender: OK
This step consists of converting via blender, re-texturing, re-rigging, adding shape breathing, optimizing vertices, implementing primary "idle" animation to ensure general consistency.
- Recovery and adaptation of the Lizard model for use via unity: To be done
- Integration of the Tauren model in unity and integration in the general animation mechanics: OK, still a few adjustments to make over time
This step consists of recovering the Tauren model, reworking it using Blender, adding the animation scripts (breathing, movement of the ears, of the tail, of the other tail..., movement of the dialogue, management of collisions, setting up the multi-animation engine, fluid settings, ...
This step is tested by the character's implementation in the Eternea sandbox.
- Integration of the Lizard model in unity and integration in the general animation mechanics: To be done
- Realization of the bar "the good wank": To do
This step will consist of "building" the bar. I'm thinking of taking up a bar that I made during my first attempts at playing. It will then be a question of building a general atmosphere.
- Realization of the back room, the toilets of the bar: To be done
Without spoiling too much, part of the episode will take place in the toilets...
- Story writing: Started
I have several ideas that I need to write down. The dialogues of the characters, the interactions between them and with the player, the different possible choices of the player.
Once the story is written, it is integrated into unity via the VIDE asset (reworked for compatibility in VR mode). The sequence is programmed as well as the animations of the characters.
This step is the longest to complete and will probably result in several consecutive deliveries as the story progresses.
- Runtime mode tests, English translation, VR mode tests: To be done
Realized over the versions with each of their delivery to limit the bugs to the maximum.
In this stage, the feedback from the players, your feedback, is very important and helps me enormously.
Halfway through the production of the episode, I will launch a survey to identify the characters of episode 4.
For this survey I want you to be able to visually see the characters to choose from in the game itself thanks to the sandbox section.
To do this, I will therefore carry out the recovery/adaptation and integration stages in unity in advance of the phase.
This will take more work but I suspect you will appreciate this possibility :)
At the same time, as I started doing with Amaterasu and Tarda, I'm going to add several female characters to the AAR Game side (and therefore also to the Eternea sandbox).

Voici un point d'avancement sur l'épisode 3
- Récupération et adaptation du modèle Tauren via Blender : OK
Cette étape consiste à la conversion via blender, re-texturing, re-rigging, ajout shape respiration, optimisation des vertex, mise en œuvre animation primaire "idle" pour s'assurer de la cohérence générale.
- Récupération et adaptation du modèle Lézard pour exploitation via unity : A faire
- Intégration du modèle Tauren dans unity et intégration dans la mécanique générale d'animation : OK, reste quelques ajustement à faire au fil de l'eau
Cette étape consiste à récupérer le modèle Tauren retravailler via Blender, ajouter les scripts d'animation (respiration, mouvement des oreilles, de la queue, de l'autre queue..., mouvement du dialogue, gestion des collisions, mise en place du moteur multi animation, paramétrage du fluide, ...
Cette étape est testée par la mise en œuvre du personnage dans la sandbox d'Eternea.
- Intégration du modèle Lézard dans unity et intégration dans la mécanique générale d'animation : A faire
- Réalisation du bar "la bonne branlette" : A faire
Cette étape va consister à "construire" le bar. Je pense reprendre un bar que j'avais fait lors de mes premières tentatives de jeu. Il s'agira ensuite de construire une ambiance générale.
- Réalisation de l'arrière salle, les WC du bar : A faire
Sans trop spoiler, une partie de l'épisode va se passer dans les toilettes...
- Écriture de l'histoire : Débutée
J'ai plusieurs idées que je dois coucher sur la papier. Les dialogues des personnages, les interactions entre eux et avec le joueur, les différents choix possibles du joueur.
Une fois l'histoire écrite, elle est intégré dans unity via l'asset VIDE (retravaillé pour compatibilité en mode VR). L'enchainement est programmé ainsi que les animations des personnages.
Cette étape est la plus longue à réaliser et donnera probablement lieu à plusieurs livraisons consécutives au fil de l'avancée de l'histoire.
- Tests mode runtime, traduction en anglais, tests mode VR : A faire
Réalisé au fil des versions avec chacune de leur livraison pour limiter les bugs au maximum.
Dans cette étape, le retour des joueurs, votre retour, est très important et m'aide énormément.
A mi parcours de la réalisation de l'épisode, je lancerai un sondage pour identifier les personnages de l'épisode 4.
Pour ce sondage j'ai envie que vous puissiez visuellement voir les personnages à choisir dans le jeu lui même grâce à la section sandbox.
Pour se faire, je réaliserai donc les étapes de récupération/adaptation et intégration dans unity en avance de phase.
Cela demandera plus de travail mais je soupçonne que vous apprécierai cette possibilité :)
En même temps, comme j'ai commencé à la faire avec Amaterasu et Tarda, je vais ajouter coté AAR Game (et du coup également dans la sandbox d'Eternea) plusieurs personnages féminins.
