GOTHAM CITY PD: CLASSIFIED 010
🕑 Added 2017-11-04 17:00:04 +0000 UTC CLASSIFIED 010: PRESS CONFERENCE(crowd talking)
GORDON: Alright, everyone – settle down. Settle down. (cameras click, noise dies down) At 12:17am on June 4th, a raid was conducted on Valentino Farm after receiving information from an anonymous source. After a brief sweep was conducted, we secured thirteen hostages including an elderly female we presume to be of relation to our suspect. They were all immediately rushed to Gotham Memorial Hospital for evaluation. The bodies of Officer John Rieger and Enrico Moreno were discovered, as was the body of Detective Safiya Morales. Today, we honour the memory and mourn the loss of three of Gotham City’s finest, and bravest. We grieve with their loved ones today, and in the days to come. Freud said, and I quote: “we are never so defenceless against suffering as when we love.” And there was no shortage of love for these true heroes. This has been a – sobering turn of events for all of us at the GCPD. I’ll take some questions now. Yeah, you there.
REPORTER: Gotham Gazette. Any update on Detective Harvey Bullock?
GORDON: At this time, Harvey Bullock is listed as critical, but stable.
CLARK KENT: Over here – Daily Planet.
GORDON: Yes.
KENT: Is it true that you were unable to locate and apprehend this… uh, Professor Pyg?
GORDON: At this time, we are… unable to ascertain the whereabouts of Dr. Valentino.
(crowd uproar)
GORDON: We have – who we believe to be an accomplice in custody, but she has yet to co-operate with us at this time. That’s all. No more questions at this time – no.
