The Riddler Speaks - Casefile #135b
🕑 Added 2017-10-29 19:00:03 +0000 UTC TRS - Casefile #0135b (Simple)???: Edward. We need to talk.
EDWARD: Oh, by all means. Let’s… talk.
???: I hear them, Edward. They mock you. They mock your riddles. They call you – simple.
EDWARD: Well, it’s the internet. What do you expect?
???: I expect brilliance, Mr. Nygma. They’re solving YOUR riddles. I’m not happy about this.
EDWARD: Ohoho, well I am sorry. I’ll try harder to not have my life saved.
(EDWARD is hit.)
???: I think YOU’RE helping them.
EDWARD: And just how would I do that from… here? Wherever ‘here’ is?
???: I think YOU are the numbers we’ve seen. You tinker. And you meddle. You’re becoming a wrench in my delicate works.
EDWARD: Oh, my god. If we’re devolving into metaphors, just shoot me now.
(gun clicks and is held EDWARD’s head)
???: Were I not needed elsewhere, I would seriously consider it. We will continue this – later.
EDWARD: Any chance you could give me a time? I want to make sure my schedule’s clear.
(EDWARD is hit again)
EDWARD: (groans) Alright. We’ll play it by ear, then.
