Release of the Alpha Build!
🕑 Added 2020-09-20 20:10:12 +0000 UTCHeyo everyone. The title says it all! We've been awfully quiet on both the Twitter and Patreon front for a bit right now and we're sorry for that. When we started this project we did not think we would get this much support already and obviously we could also not expect that shortly after launch a virus like this could hit the world. It made work and other issues more complicated for all of us, you of course included and to everyone that supported us by following, pledging and sharing and more we want to say "Thank you". But we never stopped. We've been working as much as we could to make it up for you so you will see in the demo that there are some artworks, backgrounds and UI elements that were not posted on Patreon. Those will definitely be uploaded in the coming days on their own.
So just one more time: We hope you can forgive us for staying silent lately and we promise it's about to change. We're beginners when it comes to the social media game and we definitely want to step this up. Let's go for a great development process!
The alpha build
The reception even to our unannounced release of the Demo has been great so far and we're happy people like it. But here it finally is. The official announcement. There was a reason as to why we posted it on Itch.io without saying anything and more to that just in a few hours!

So, this alpha build includes one enemy most of you should be familiar with - the fairy - and 2 scenes with her! There is no real objective yet, so just walk around, test the movement and check the environments. Make sure to read the "readme" to get more of an understanding of how to play. It's not completed just yet but we plan on doing so with v1.0b and it should also include a content list by then! There is also a few secrets hidden like hidden rooms and breakable walls that lead to such. Try to find them!
We know it's still a bit rough around the edges and are aware of a few minor bugs, but feel free to point them out and tell us what you (dis)like on our now public Discord! (See below)
For those who have already played it or just wonder...
What's coming next?
Well, we want to build a strong foundation before adding more and more content. If we were to expand the area now and immediately add new enemies and gimmicks, we would fall behind on other things that truly need work first. So we want to establish more functionality, bug fixes and quality of life adjustments.
For the next update you can expect just that! Bug fixes, quality of life changes and a new "functionality" ingame in the form of a shop!
What main character would be good without the help of some items after all! Of course these will also be needed to be sold by someone so our patrons can look forward to a new design coming up soon. Talking about designs...
The poll for which enemy is going to be added to the game next is now officially closed and with that the enemy that is going to be implemented next is...
...the wolf girl! Hot on your tail, this corrupt cop is not going to just let you waltz into the city just like that. Congratulations to everyone that voted for her!
Yet again, we want to mention that this enemy will not be included in the next patch, but it will be the next enemy implemented.
