rain and rambling
🕑 Added 2021-05-27 09:40:49 +0000 UTCtiny preview of the animation im working on, i wanted to show the important parts without spoiling anything
for the rambling:
I spent some time working on ACNH characters and environment but I just couldnt make isabelle look good so i ultimately scrapped it and started working on this instead. In my opinion the last few long animations i made were pretty crap so with this one, i really want to take my time and make everything as good as i can currently make it- a short story, much better clothes which are simulated and not just frozen in place and also that thing that everybody keeps bugging me about. hopefully Ill be able to get it done by the end of june
rambling for 5€+ patrons:
I will probably remove the 5€ tier at the end of june (next month) and move the .blends to gumroad. the tier puts pressure on me to make a character every month even when I want to use the models Ive already created so its unnecessary anxiety for me.
and uh... for the real reason- while the above is true, 5€ just is not even close to being the appropriate price for like 20 retopod, rigged (debatable), textured, furred characters some of which now have clothes made custom for them.
*One* model like that usually goes for more than 30€, so selling 20 of them for five bucks is just an abysmal deal for me.
Nonetheless, all models I make until I delete the tier at the end of june will still be available for download, that includes the characters featured in this animation when its completed. I will make another post to remind you to cancel/lower your pledge so patreon doesnt keep charging you

Hey Hakya, are you going to do a fetish animation in the future? I thought this was one, after the name feet :,)
Isabelle looks great to me

I see you
Well, for what it's worth, I totally agree with the move. I'd much rather you were focused on improving characters you like and making longer animations than just churning out new characters you don't even have time to use. Well done, and thank you for just being honest about the fact that it just doesn't make sense, work=value for you. I'll probably keep my sub at 5 even after it drops to 3, just because I appreciate the directness.

5€ tier will get removed, 3€ tier will not have any changes, all the rewards are going to be the same

what happens to those who are low tier supporters? I do not mind losing the monthly arts I just want to know if I have to subscribe to a higher tier to keep seeing your longer animations early.
