If I had to guess, I'd say the personality is part of it. I'm trying to channel a bit of Magneto into Tyson. I also think that the fact that we've been off-script this whole Arc is another major factor. Since the events of Arc 7 aren't directly predestined by any movies or known storyline, you get to see Tyson's decision-making and thought process as he faces challenges that you, as the reader, don't know the outcome of. When you know how the events will play out, naturally, everyone has thoughts about how they'd handle it. Tyson has seen how things change when he interferes, so he dislikes rocking the boat. Because of this, he seems a little hesitant and less assertive than he could be. In this case, there is no boat.

Gotta say I'm liking Tyson's new personality a lot. I don't know how to describe it but, he seems a lot more calm, commanding, and confident. I don't know if it was the others inside his mind or the sheer impact of the day before events or maybe both but, I'm looking forward to how he moves foward.
