Devlog #040
🕑 Added 2024-04-08 21:52:45 +0000 UTCWelcome once again to our monthly summary, where we take a look at what we've been up to in March and what we have planned for April.
Writing
The translation of the episode is finished. It has also passed the beta testing phase. We have even programmed it into the engine. In this sense, patch 11.3 is completely finished, just waiting for the remaining arts to go in.
During this week we have started the first lines of the 12.1 script. We can't comment too much about it yet because we are structuring part of it, but we could say that we have already reached 15% of the narrative. If we recap, the last thing we could see is the appearance of a new character on the scene: Lucifer. Although things seem to start speeding up, maybe the new leader of the demons is going through difficulties?
On the other hand, we have also made progress in the correction of Witch Tales: Bone & Porcelain. The script was already finished and placed in the engine and we are now in the revision phase. During the last part of the month we managed to correct approximately 50% of this second story and we plan to finish it this month while we continue writing patch 12.1.
Art
We have finished the first of the three CGs of the episode. You can see it [here]. We have already started the second CG and it will feature Hasiel. If everything goes well and we progress at the expected pace, this month we will be able to set a release date for this new chapter. Finishing the artwork for this patch is our only monthly goal for the art section.
Programming
The whole episode is ready except for the CGs. So we will re-polish the room decoration game we are preparing for the demons chapter. New difficulties have been added such as changing the light depending on whether the background is in day or night mode, apart from having to work on a nicer and more functional item inventory system.
Thank you all for supporting us and see you next month.
