Devlog #038

Hello, first of all congratulations in advance for Valentine's Day. We know that this last month we have presented several extra devlogs, but we are back to the normal rhythm in which we tell you the plans for this month and the latest developments.
- Writing
The Chronicles 11.3 script is nearing completion. Yes, we've influenced the characters and structure pretty quickly and it would be surprising if the script didn't close this month, as it's accumulated just over 10k words and we don't have too much parallel work. We predict a quiet episode, without too many shocks, but with some twists towards the end of the chapter. Do you want to know more?
As we already informed you about Witch Tales: Bone & Porcelain, its script was closed with 40k words, you can see the draft in Spanish and uncorrected in [this post]. This is probably the longest and most resource-intensive of the three stories. If you dare to review it, take it with tweezers (like a grain of salt), as it will undergo severe changes and corrections. Still, we are open to any kind of feedback about the characters and their dynamics.
- Art
We are with the re-edition of the background of Opal's room for Witch Tales, after which we will return to Chronicles to continue with the new costumes of the episode. For the episode we expect, apart from the 4 new outfits, two backgrounds, the three CGs and, most likely, a shadow. We hope that during this month we will be able to show progress on both projects. In a short time we could be narrowing down the Witch Tales list and be closer to present the re-release of the demo, both the extended one for patreon and the capped one for Itch.
Despite the holidays, our work will only be focused on production and we will not divert resources to social networks or promotion.
Programming
We started programming Witch Tales: Bone and Porcelain. The Script has been introduced uncleaned up to 30% and now we are adjusting the clicker mini-game that will be linked to this new story. We present you a small unrefined preview of this new mechanic. We plan for all three stories to have their own system.
- Witch Tales: Between the Seams: A point & Click.
- Witch Tales: Bone and Porcelain: Temporary clicker.
- Witch Tales: Fallen from the Sky: Connect the dots.
In the case of this mini-game, the idea is that as the main character (Astrid) you collect a series of fires that will appear on the screen. If you collect enough of them you can get a piece of the puzzle (solar crystals) and with enough of them you can unlock the secret scene. It is very similar to the mechanics of point & click between seams, only instead of finding fragments of memories hidden in the scenes, you will have to be very fast when these screens are presented.
- Other
We believe that the schedule is pretty much on track and there won't be too many gaps. So, there is only hard work left. Best wishes to all of you and we hope you are doing well.

¡Hola!
Comenzamos a programar Witch Tales: Hueso y Porcelana.
- Witch Tales: Entre Costuras: Un point & Click.
- Witch Tales: Hueso y Porcelana: Clicker temporal.
