Devlog #030
🕑 Added 2023-06-04 17:26:08 +0000 UTCHappy Pride Month!
We are back for another month with a new update. We'll quickly tell you what we've made progress, what we plan to do and what our main goals are. Don't forget that if you have any doubts, questions or suggestions, we are ready to listen to you and take them into account.
Thank you all very much for your attention and enormous support!
- Writing
Chapter 11.1 has reached 50% of its writing. While Witch Tales: Bone and Porcelain is close to 75% (14k words). As both stories are advanced we will be working on them in parallel. Although our priority this month will be Chronicles, as we'll be focusing all our resources on this new chapter, it's likely that we'll be able to continue working on both.
If we don't finish the writing phase of CHR this month, we'll be very close. If we do, we'll move on to programming and then translation. I hope you are happy with the work of the new translator because we are. In any case, you can inform us of anything you have detected or think we should improve.
- Art
We'll start with the alternative appearances of the sprites and see how far we allow ourselves to go down this road. We'll begin with Pin, who is likely to get huge alterations. There are also alternate appearances planned for Nova, and costume changes for Zihel, Ariel and, maybe, Valefar. Nothing is scheduled outside of CHR, apart from the Patreon-exclusive comic, so we're hoping to give the production a good push.
Among other things on the list would be a modification of the background of the Church of Raziel and the usual 3 Cgs.
- Programming
The two sprites of Edwina and Cordelia in the Witch Tales game have yet to be programmed and replaced. Although they will not be available in the current official version, they will be available when an updated demo is released. However, this work will almost certainly be finished this month.
Some textual bugs are still pending in the English version of patch 10.0, which will probably be fixed after finishing the script of episode 11.1 or during this month, if gaps are created.
- Others
At the moment, we are very focused on moving forward with our main game, so we are not planning to add anything else.
So far that would be our devlog, we encourage you to come to the LGBT Pride Day demonstrations and we wish you a good month.
Best regards,
Toxic Squad. ☠️
Toxic Squad. ☠️
