Devlog #031
🕑 Added 2023-07-09 16:28:52 +0000 UTC
Hello everybody! We're back for another month with the devlog. Today we'll do a little review of all our forecasts for July. Although we'll let you know that we're working on CHR episode 11.1 with the return of the demons.
- Writing
The CHR script is almost finished, it's over 11k words and very soon -this month- it will go to programming and then to translation. There are only a few bridges between scenes and one of the closing scenes left. We promise there will be a lot of new and interesting things.
On the other hand, we haven't abandoned the WT: Bone and Porcelain storyline either. This story has reached 17k words and is on its way to the home stretch. There are still a lot of improvements and implementations of WT: Between the Seams, so we are far from entering the production of this second story, but we plan to make much more progress in the coming months.
- Art
We are fully committed to the new chapter of CHR. After finishing the new episode looks for our main characters, we are currently working on the renovation of the background of the Church of Raziel. There are still the 3 unlockable CGs and some extra shadows and support images, as well as another appearance for Nova (Yes, Nova!).
Otherwise, we have no plans to do anything unrelated to this chapter.
- Programming
We are working on fixing a possible bug/inconvenience for the next episode. It's likely that the game will need to be updated from the interface before we can continue. We'll keep checking these issues and will inform you with the solution we find.
This month we'll be fully into script and art programming. We'll see if we'll be able to set an official release date in August.
- Other
We are thinking of a way to reinforce our work in social media and advertising, which we consider to be one of our Achilles heels. We are still considering several possibilities including getting more seriously into tiktok. Still, we will see what we can do during this month.
On the other hand, the team will meet live later this month. We are very much looking forward to the two sides of this project meeting again. Great ideas always come up and our motivation is renewed.
So much for our devlog, we wish you a happy month.
Toxic Squad. ☠️
