Devlog #028
🕑 Added 2023-04-02 10:00:03 +0000 UTC
We start April with a new devlog. We hope you had a great month of March and that very soon we'll be able to set a release date for the next chapter.
- Writing
While waiting for the translations of Witch Tales: 'Between the Seams' and CHR episode 10.0 to arrive, we're going to keep moving forward with other scripts. At least, until we can finish the current episode and launch it definitively. So, we will continue working on Witch Tales: 'Bone and Porcelain'.
- Art
In the artistic part we have less and less left. The double CG of Akane and Kyeran, the double CG of Joe and Hasiel and finally the CG of Arael. Apart from this, the only things missing are 3 shadows of mutants and the correction of some bugs that we have been detecting.
Programming
The episode is updated to the rhythm of the arts, i.e. all the old and new sprites are in place, as well as the backgrounds and CGs. There is very little work left, as the music and sound effects have also been introduced.
Finally, we can show you a beta version of the Witch Tales gallery, although the adjacent screens of the other stories are still missing, the prototype is fully functional and the editing is ready to introduce the new changes very easily. Some parts may undergo changes and improvements in the future, but for now this is our final version, what do you think? Don't hesitate to leave us your suggestions if you have any.
- Other
For the time being, we'll try to make progress on side projects, as the other issues we are working on in the background require graphic resources, and these will be focused on finishing episode 10.0.
So that's it for this month's report and outlook. Best wishes and see you soon.
Toxic Squad. ☠️
