Devlog #027
🕑 Added 2023-03-05 18:31:32 +0000 UTC
New month and new update. Thank you all for your infinite patience, we know this chapter is not going as fast as we would like, but we are having difficulties offline, apart from being a chapter, which is more than twice as long as usual. We hope our efforts will be reflected in the next patch.
- Writting
The script is officially in translation. We still need to make more progress to be able to ensure that the deadlines will go as planned. But we hope that our new translator will become familiar with our way of working soon - we have a good feeling about it!
- Art
We are working on the third CG of the episode. The new sprites are finished, but we still have some new expressions and some bugs to fix. We also haven't forgotten about the last of the backgrounds that are still pending.
- Programming
Programming is well advanced. Almost all the sprites have been introduced, with the Anjali sprite and some expressions still in the queue. Almost all the backgrounds are ready as well, so even the effects have been incorporated.
Among the new features in this chapter, we include a 'typewriter' mini-game, which we were working on during the last weeks of February. We can say that it is now ready and is - apparently - bug-free.
- Others
This month we'll spend some time on the galleries. There will probably be a gap between the new translations and artwork coming in and the start of a new episode, so we'll use that gap to focus on this aspect.
So much for this month's devlog. Best regards and see you soon.
Toxic Squad.
Toxic Squad.
